About the Western Kane County Republican Organization
Nine Kane County townships comprise the Western Kane GOP. They are (from north to south): Hampshire, Rutland, Burlington, Plato, Virgil, Kaneville, Blackberry, Big Rock, and Sugar Grove.
For a township to have its own organization, the Kane County Republican Party bylaws require there to be at least 10 precincts in the township.
The Western Township Republican Central Committee meets at Blackberry Township Hall located on Main Street Road. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.
The Executive Committee of the WKCRO is as follows:
Chairman: Dennis C. Ryan, 630-365-2012
Vice-Chairman: Stan Bond
Secretary: Cheryl Puhl
Treasurer: Bill Keck
The WKCRO is one of the eight township organizations that make up the Kane County Republican Central Committee. The 102 Republican county organizations form the Illinois State Republican Party. The 50 state Republican parties together form the Republican National Committee.
Your Republican Precinct Committeeman is a voting member of the Kane County Republican Organization and they want to know your views, as your elected representatives, on matters of GOP party policy and priorities.
